Wonderful week!

The family reunion was a BLAST, even though it rained. The kids still had a ball!
I am happy to report I did not sustain one Mosquito bite, so that was GOOD!

We saw Dark Knight Sunday with friends and it was good....even though I fell asleep on some of it. Heath Ledger did a great job....
It was kinda of eerie watching him, knowing it was his last film.
so sad!!!!

Yesterday Baptiste went our favorite Japaneese restaurant Hamada House of Japan....I got the Triple Delight, which is steak, shrimp, and chicken....It was soooooooo good!!!

My daughter has gone AWOL...
She went to my parents house last Friday, and through a recent phone conversation, she told me she won't be home untl next week.....
Let's see how that will go over with her daddy.... Who is already inquiring when she is coming home. LOL

Today is a very comfortable day only in the upper 70's!!!! I am so looking forward to fall!! Can't wait!


Not much planned today, just going to watch So you think you can dance!!

My baby is not a baby anymore

I took these photos of Jaree a few weeks ago and I was looking them over, because I wanted to scrapbook them, I was just overcome with tears. My baby is developing so fast! She is only nine years old.

She's such a beautiful little girl, that I sometimes am taken a back.
She tells me "Mommy I will always be your baby, NO MATTER WHAT?"
So sincere, yet so UNTRUE...
they grow up so fast! Before I know it she will be going to the prom, away to college, and getting married and having a family of her own.

I love my little girl! She is so precious to me...
She is really my little miracle, as she has cheated death twice!!!!
She's mommy's little angel.
My snuggle bunny! My off again, on again bed partner!
I honestly couldn't sleep with this girl everyday, as I would have a skull fracture and a dislocated back, as she sleeps extremely WILD!!!!!
She came in my room around 7am and my back aches....LOL

On another note, How are you enjoying your SUMMER?
At the Brooks house, we have been having a blast, we just went to Six Flags Great America last Friday on the 11th, rode everythihng....LOL , We have been to the water park twice, neighbor hood pool countless times, beach twice, and we are getting ready for our Wisconsin Dells trip to the The Wilderness, next month!!! Can't wait!!!

It's hotter than fire...

Oh my gosh!! It is so hot and will be hot all this week....
Like in th upper 90's HOT....
Don't get me wrong, I like summer ok, but not the 90's...

To be honest no hotter than 80 is all good for me....

I have totally fell off the wagon, on my work out game....
I so have to start going again...

Maybe I will go today!

I won't be going out in that hot sun today.....

I won't be letting the kids out either, especially Jaree, she is so light, that she burns.....
Poor baby, she so has my dad's genes!!!

Thank God it will ool off by Friday, because our Family Reunion is this Saturday.

that means I have to cook....DAYUM!!!

Today, not much planned. I so need to go work out.. It is definitely a must!

Crazy week ahead

The Fourht is fast approaching and my sister in law is getting married on the 5th!

Jaree is the flower girl. She has to get her hair done and she needs shoes.......Ugh!
So much to do!
Other news, we have a turtle on the loose in our house. I am so not hpapy about this. She jumped out of the tank, after climbing out from her turtle dock. I am so peeved11!

We have to find her soon!

We went to see WANTED! With Angelina Jolie. It was pretty good!

I am just enjoying my summer, how about you!
