Today I am a little disenchanted to say the least. My good friend LaVelle next door had her water cut off yesterday. LaVelle is my neighbor who lost her husband to a massive heart attack this past June. Well to make a long story short, she has 5 adults living in her home and only one of which works. The rest just freeload and then when there water gets shut off (yes this happened more than once, twice, hell more than 3 times) they come to my house for water. I feel a little used here. There bill is over 600. All those adults over there and no one pitches in, but they expect to come here and use my water. Last time our water bill was twice the amount it normally was, because of letting them use water. I am at a loss. They have been calling me and texting me all my morning. My guess is to use the water. I just didn't answer. Baptiste is less than pleased and is growing very, very annoyed. In fact, he turned off the water spickets on the outside, for fear they may just try to take the water. I hate living like this. But, I also hate seeing her and her 10 children go through this, but I can't help someone else out to the detriment of my own household. I am very lucky that Baptiste has a very lucrative job and he takes care of everything. But, I can't put more on him......
He is the sole provider in our household. I am just torn!
She is supposed to get social security benefits, but they have yet to kick in....
This is crazy....
Today we are going to leave our home for a few hours just to get away from all the begging, the guilt we feel for not helping, but damn, you would think all those grown ass people over there would help. Just craziness...
But off that I have been reading Twilight and damn is it getting good....Edward Cullen is so weird. He doesn't know if he wants to take to Bella one day or the next ..... Can't wait until it gets suspenseful...... I am only on page 100 started reading it last night! So good.
Today not much planned. Dh is taking us out. Where, don't know.....
I am gonna be home by 8 to watch my favorite show Supernatural!!!!
Hopefully I can swing by Orland and go to Archivers, have some coupons I have been dying to use!!!! A girl can dream huh?
Anyways, I gotta go. Got some things to clean before 3 so I gotta get busy....

That sure sucks to be used like that. Especially when there are healthy adults that could remedy the situation and do nothing about it.

wow, that is a tough situation. you want to help people out but you can't do it all. sound slike this lady needs to get tough with her squatters. i don't know how people can just sponge off of others. esp a widow. i hate to say it but part of me wonders what she was thinking having so many kids. i'm assuming all 10 aren't hers?
