What I love about blogging...

Blogging is a relatively new thing...
I have been blogging since November of 2005...

I didn't have any expectations, my blog were random tidbits of my life...
Little sound bites..

I have always been and still am journal writer..
I have kept a DIARY so to speak, since the day I learned how to write, so this was something new that I was willing to try...

I didn't replace or was not a substitution for WRITING, but it was a way to express myself and be heard...

Never in a million years, would I have IMAGINED...
All the joy my blog would bring..

Through my blog, I have met soooooo many wonderful people. People who I would have never met if it were not for blogging...
People who mean as much to me, as the friends I see everyday or talk to on the phone...

I have met the most AWESOME people!

But not only that...

I have learned so much!
I have picked up on new things, things that I probably would have never thought about, if it were not for my CYBER FAMILY...

I am right now taking a beading class, because of Adrienne's sister in law Zanette!!!

I used to bead as a child, but I have been contemplating on getting into it, but was scared to pick up another hobby...

Because of Adrienne, I want to learn to sew and knit...

Because of BonnieRose, I have really taken my writing to the next level. She is a deep person, and she provokes me to dig deep inside and write from the soul.

I am inspired by so many awesome scrapbookers, like Vee, Keisha Campbell, Kristina Contes, Celine Navarro, Jennifer Pebbles, Sara Bowen, Donna Downey, Ali E, Elsiecake, Adrienne Looman, Amber Ulmer, Rebecca Sower, Shannon Tidwell, I can go on and on...

I am inspired by people who share the same passions about their family as I do like Heather...

I am amazed at how many people love their pets and spoil them just the same as I do...
Like Sarah, Em, Amber, and so many others...

I can go to any blog and find interesting links and other awesome blogs that I can read!It was through blogs that I found other sites like SCRAPINSTYLETV, that is my new Love! I have a love affair with that site. It was through my blog sisters that I found Goodreads, another site I love, because I am an AVID reader. I gets my read on! You better believe it! LOL

I get day to day inspiration from the blogs I read daily...

And I am truly thankful and blessed.

Now I was reading BonnieRose's blog and she posted about 10 things that made her happy. I will leave you with 10 random things that make me happy:

1. Kisses from my children
2. Snuggling with my hubby
3. Carmel lattes and Vanilla bean Frapps with carmel sauce
4. Talking to my mom (she can always make things better)
5. Fuzzy socks
6. Hot baths with candles all around me...
7. Watching a good movie with my hubby
8. Coloring and playing bratz with Jaree
9. Dancing with my children
10. Baking, baking, baking. I know my way around the kitchen, it is the one thing I that my grandmother taught me and it stuck. She had a fond love of baking. I am a FROM SCRATCH, person. No box cakes for me... I should get stock in "Swans Down Flour".... I love to bake cakes, cheesecakes, peach cobblers, black berry cobbler, apple pie, apple turnovers, cookies, brownies, fudge, you name it....I can bake it. And it's good!!!!

So I encourage you to think about 10 random things that make you happy! In this day in age, we can get so wrapped up on what makes us unhappy and dwell on that, instead of focusing on what makes us happy!!!!

So that is my challenge for today. Post 10 things that make you happy!

Until next time.

Great challenge! I'll have to take you up on that one. :)

Excellent post! My mother actually suggested I start blogging. Years ago, I had my own website journaling my battle with endometriosis. Over time it interested me less and less so I took it down. I was hesitant to try again but now I'm loving this. It's the interaction that makes it so much fun. I was lacking that in the "old" days before blogger, etc. And, you're right - the fun people we get to meet and share with are a big perk. :)

Awesome post! I have to say that I started blogging from lurking around 2 peas. I'm glad I did because otherwise I would not have gotten to know so many wonderful people.

Love your list of "Happy's"! I love baking all the time also. As long as I'm feeling well.
I'm going to take your challenge. Make sure you come and check it out.

Fabulous list Dana! I will do it on mine. And thank you for your comment today about O's appointment. It just helped me feel a bit more calm. Blogging is the most constant journal I've ever kept!
