Daily remblings

Who would have thunk it? Online journaling...aka weblogs! I have always been a person to write down my thoughts, feelings, dreams, goals, and personal accounts of my life. I am good at documenting my feelings. So when I heard about blogging, this was right up my alley. A place where I can come to unload my thoughts and feelings, just like a journal, but with feedback. How sweet is that? I am so glad that blogging has come into my life. I enjoy documenting my thougts and coming back to see where my head was at that particular time. I also enjoy reading other's blogs. It feel so awesome to come back to your blog and read all the comments. I admit, I feverishly race back to my blog to see what comments await me. If I hit the jackpot, that's more than 5 comments, I am so ecstatic. I think in a sense we all want to feel validated, to be heard.

I still write in my journals, just habit. But it is nice to have a journal that can be shared among friends...

Today, I was so happy. My sons grades has improved tremendously. He got A's, B's, and C's. I am so happy! He did so well. I am extremely proud of him. So proud that my dh and I are taking him out to Old Country Buffet later. Can't wait!

I have to take down my daughters braids. She looks like Medusa's child! I have been taking them all day. Her hair is so curly that its hard to undbraid. I am glad that I only have one little girl. Her hair, plus mind can take a tole on ya......lol

I used to keep journals all the time, but my hands always got tired from writing!! Typing is much easier! A couple of years ago I never would have believed I would be a blogger, but it's working out pretty well so far! Congrats on your sons grades, that's quite an accomplishment!

I agree with you dana. I loved and have always loved journaling. Now with blogging, I can do it more on a reg basis, and share whatever comes to mind, and make new friends at the same time... so great about your son's grades..... how wonderful!

I feel the same way about blogging. I've met some great people by blogging. Congrats to your son! My little brother struggles with his grades too and he's made an improvement this year too! I hope he enjoys his dinner out tonight. I feel you with the hair my sistah! My Mom still tells stories about having to do my hair. I hope I'll be blessed with a daughter though, then it will be pay back time, for some the torture my Mom had to go through doing my hair. LOL!
